Ask Mo is your AI assistant for answers to questions about Enterprise "how-to's" as well as your Enterprise data questions. Ask Mo is made up of Ask Mo Support and Ask Mo Data:
- Ask Mo Support answers your how-to questions. Ask natural language questions and receive answers based on our knowledge base. Automatically available on all packages.
- Ask Mo Data allows users to receive text and visualized answers to Enterprise data questions without having to search for the report or export data to Excel to analyze. Available on Pro and Premier packages. See Ask Mo Data for all the details about Ask Mo Data.
Some notes:
- Ask Mo is available on versions 2025.4 and higher.
- While Ask Mo Support does not require specific packaging, Ask Mo Data requires the Pro or Premier package. See Ask Mo Data for all the details about Ask Mo Data.
- Queries in Ask Mo Data do not recognize user permissions to data in the application at this time. Users accessing Ask Mo Data will be able to query all data in your database, regardless of permissions. You are able to limit access to Ask Mo Data.
- Queries in Ask Mo Data do not recognize user-level data permissions in the application. Users with access to Ask Mo Data can query all records in that data set, regardless of their permissions elsewhere in the system, except for data controlled by the Ask Mo Financials role.
- Both Ask Mo Support and Ask Mo Data use the standard terminology in the application, not any dictionary phrases or alternate descriptions that you may have added.
- Ask Mo and other AI features are not available for those who use Azure for Momentus.
- Ask Mo will not initially be available in Singapore.

Ask Mo Access
Both Ask Mo Support and Ask Mo Data use the same Ask Mo button that appears in the lower-right corner of the Enterprise application, and use the same chat interface.
By default, the Ask Mo button is enabled on your account (excepting accounts meeting the exceptions listed in the notes above). This means that:
- All users are able to ask questions of Ask Mo Support.
- If you have implemented Ask Mo Data and given a user the Ask Mo Data and/or Ask Mo Financials role, they are able to ask questions of Ask Mo Data. More information about Ask Mo Data access is available in Ask Mo Data.
Disable Ask Mo Completely
If you do not want the Ask Mo button available or if you don't want this AI feature in your account, contact our Support Team and they will disable it. No users on your account will be able to access Ask Mo Support or Ask Mo Data.
Limit Access to Ask Mo Support
Some organizations may wish to limit access to Ask Mo Support to certain users, either as part of rolling out Ask Mo or on an ongoing basis. You are able to do this via these steps:
- Contact the Support Team and ask them to disable Ask Mo on your account. This removes the Ask Mo button for everyone.
- Create the Ask Mo Support role:
- Display Name: Ask Mo Support
- ID: MOSUPPORT
- Access Level: Internal
- Features tab: Remove all features so that additional access is not granted. If all features are not removed, users will have access to all features listed regardless of their other roles.
- Grant access to Ask Mo by assigning the appropriate role to users:
- Assign the Ask Mo Support role to users who should only have access to Ask Mo Support.
- Assign the Ask Mo Data and/or Ask Mo Financials role to users who should have access to Ask Mo Support and Ask Mo Data. Instructions to create these roles are in Ask Mo Data.
Use Ask Mo Support
Ask Mo Support is available to all Enterprise customers on 2025.4 and higher, regardless of packaging.

-
Enter your question: Type a prompt in plain language. For example, you can ask “How do I cancel an event?”
Ask Mo Support was tested in English, French, German, Arabic, and Spanish, but you can use any language. While you can prompt and receive replies in other languages, all headers and text which is part of the Ask Mo interface will always display in English. - Review Ask Mo’s interpretation: Ask Mo will summarize what it understood from your request.
-
View the results: Ask Mo will provide a summary of information it found in the Enterprise Knowledge Base as well as a list of articles it based its answer on.
Ask Mo will give answers based on best practices. It cannot answer questions about custom workflows your organization may use. - Ask clarifying questions as needed, or click through to view source articles in full for additional context and instruction.
Tips for Prompting Ask Mo
To get accurate and useful results from both Ask Mo Support and Ask Mo Data, follow these tips when asking questions:
