Ask Mo Data is your AI assistant for answers to your Enterprise data questions. Ask Mo Data allows users to receive text and visualized answers to Enterprise data questions without having to search for the report or export data to Excel to analyze. Available on Pro and Premier packages.
With Ask Mo Data:
- You don’t need to be an expert in SQL or data analysis—just ask your questions in plain language, and the assistant will interpret your query to deliver both text explanations and interactive visualizations, such as bar charts and line graphs.
- You can copy/paste text answers or download visualizations directly from Ask Mo and add to emails, reports, and presentations.
- View past conversations and continue them through the Chat History bar. You can also organize past conversations into folders.
Version and Package Requirements
- Ask Mo is available on versions 2025.4 and higher. Ask Mo Data requires the Pro or Premiere package.
Data and Refresh
- Ask Mo queries a separate data source so that Enterprise application performance is not impacted. Ask Mo’s data is refreshed every 24 hours at 2:00 AM UTC.
- At this time, these data tables are included in the data set: Events, Event Opportunities, Service Orders, Functions, Spaces, and Invoices. Additional data tables will be added. User defined fields (UDFs) in these data tables are not included.
User Permissions and Data Access
- Queries in Ask Mo Data do not recognize user permissions to data in the application. Users accessing Ask Mo Data will be able to query all data in your database, regardless of permissions. See below for information about Ask Mo roles which allow you to limit access to Invoice data.
Usage Limits
- There is a usage limit of 1000 prompts/month per customer.
Dictionary and Language Support
- Ask Mo Data uses the standard terminology in the application, not any dictionary phrases or alternate descriptions that you may have added.
- Only English is officially supported at this time, but we have done limited testing in other languages. If you enter a prompt in a language other than English, be sure to include in your prompt that the response should also be in that language.
- While you can prompt and receive replies in other languages, all headers and text which are part of the Ask Mo interface will always display in English.
Data Privacy
- Data submitted through Ask Mo is not used to train the underlying AI model. Conversation data (questions asked, responses generated) is stored within your database to provide the Ask Mo experience, such as maintaining conversation history. This data remains within your account and is not shared across accounts or used for any purpose beyond delivering and improving the Ask Mo service for your account.
Access Restrictions
- Ask Mo and other AI features are not available for those who use Azure for Momentus.
- Ask Mo is not available in Singapore.

Tips for Prompting Ask Mo
To get accurate and useful results from both Ask Mo Support and Ask Mo Data, follow these tips when asking questions:
- Be as specific as possible. Provide enough context in your question.
- Use natural language. Write your query the way you would speak; Ask Mo is designed to interpret conversational input.
- Refine through follow-up. Use the chat history to build on previous questions for deeper insights.
