Event Diagramming powered by EventDraw is a room diagramming solution available to Momentus Enterprise customers. This integration provides a best-in-class diagramming platform, delivering a powerful and flexible experience.
Customers access EventDraw directly from within Momentus. Once in EventDraw, users create detailed room diagrams, configure table and resource layouts, and create or update service orders, all in a single connected workflow.
This integration includes event diagramming in backoffice only. Exhibitor floor plans and additional product integrations (such as Mobile Work Orders) are not included.
Key Features
- Users already authenticated in Enterprise are automatically signed into EventDraw. No separate login or password is required. This is supported by matching user email addresses between the two systems, with auto-provisioning for users who do not yet exist in EventDraw.
- Diagrams from EventDraw display in Enterprise on the event's EventDraw Diagrams tab. This tab is separate from the Room Diagrams tab. This allows customers who are migrating from Room Diagramming to run both side by side during the transition period, with a clear distinction between the two.
- Administrators map Enterprise spaces to EventDraw diagram templates during account onboarding. When a user opens a diagram from a specific space, EventDraw automatically loads the correct template, streamlining the workflow and reducing manual setup per event.
- EventDraw shapes (such as tables, chairs, and booths) are mapped to Enterprise resources during account onboarding. This mapping drives the service order line items generated from a diagram. Existing EventDraw configurations can be imported to reduce setup time.
- Create a service order in EventDraw which syncs to Enterprise. If the diagram changes, update the service order in EventDraw and it automatically updates in Enterprise.
- Event diagrams created in EventDraw can be attached to event reports in Enterprise. SVG export and emailing a PDF are also supported.

Configuration
The following setup is required before users can access Event Diagramming powered by EventDraw. This is a one-time process performed by an administrator, in two parts: setup in Momentus Enterprise, then setup in EventDraw.
Configure Enterprise
- Add Spaces: Confirm that all spaces you want to use with EventDraw are configured in Enterprise.
- Add Resources: Navigate to the Resources page and confirm that the resources you want to use with EventDraw are active and configured as either Class 2 (Equipment) or Class 3 (Consumable).
- Add Packages (Optional): If your organization uses packages, configure them in Enterprise before completing the EventDraw setup.
-
Add Price Lists: Add your resources to price lists.
- Price list forms are supported. You can configure different order forms for, for example, the initial setup and for additional setups, such as the first setup at no charge and subsequent setups with a fee.
- Price list minimum and maximum quantity rules are supported. If a user exceeds those limits when creating a service order from EventDraw, the system displays an error. Inventory checks are not supported at this time.
Configure EventDraw
- Confirm the Org Code: During onboarding, the correct org code is selected automatically. The integration APIs rely on this org code. If your organization has multiple org codes, confirm or update the correct one during setup. Multi-organization setups are not currently supported.
- Add Users: Add any users to EventDraw who are assisting with onboarding and grant them company admin permission. Be sure to use the same email address as their Enterprise user account. You do not need to add all Enterprise users; any user without an existing EventDraw account is automatically provisioned using their Momentus email address the first time they access EventDraw from Enterprise.
- Map Spaces to EventDraw Templates: In the EventDraw template mapping configuration, search for bookable spaces from Enterprise. Assign each space to the corresponding EventDraw diagram template. Spaces already mapped to a template are grated out and cannot be selected. This mapping determines which diagram template loads automatically when a user opens a diagram for a specific space.
-
Map EventDraw Shapes to Enterprise Resources: Map each EventDraw shape, such as a 72-inch round table or folding chair, to the corresponding Enterprise resource. Resources must be Class 2 (Equipment) or Class 3 (Consumable). This mapping determines the line items created on service orders from EventDraw. If your organization already uses EventDraw, you can import existing shape configurations to reduce setup time.
- When mapping a table, use the Momentus Chair Code to map a particular chair to a particular table.
EventDraw Access
EventDraw is accessed from the EventDraw Diagrams tab on an event in Enterprise. To give users access to the EventDraw Diagrams tab, add the Integration - Event Diagramming by EventDraw feature to their role.
If users should have access to diagrams but not be able to create new ones, add an access exception to their role which denies them access to Add Diagram, action ID 7704.
