Refunds must be processed by the correct method according to the software you are using.
- For Momentus Enterprise Refunds, please see the procedures to Refund a Credit Card.
- For Momentus Elite Refunds, the transaction can be refunded in part or fully via the Merchant Portal. Once processed the refund can be entered into Elite.
Process a Refund via the Merchant Portal
To refund a payment, locate the payment and enter the refund options:
- Selecting “Payments” from the menu
- Use the filters at the top of the page to locate the payment
- Click on the payment to view the details
- Click the Refund button at the top right of the page
- Choose between a Full or Partial refund
- For a Partial refund, enter the refund amount (equal or less than the original payment)
- Choose a Refund Reason from the dropdown
- Click the Process Refund button
