The Transactions page gives you a complete view of all payments processed through your Momentus Payments account. From here you can search and filter transactions, review individual transaction details, issue refunds, and resend receipts.

View a List of Transactions
In the left sidebar, click Transactions to open the transactions list. Each row in the list represents a single transaction and displays the following information:
- ID: A unique identifier for the transaction. Click this to open the Transaction Detail page.
- Account: The merchant account associated with the transaction.
- Payer: The name of the individual or organization that made the payment.
- EventID / OrderID / InvoiceID: Reference identifiers linking the transaction to records in your system.
- Type: Indicates whether the transaction is a Payment, Refund, or other type, along with the date and time it was processed.
- Payment Method: The card type and last four digits of either the credit card or account (if a bank debit) used for the transaction.
- Total: The gross amount charged, including any payer fees.
- Fee: The processing fee applied to the transaction.
Filter Transactions
Use the controls at the top of the list to narrow your results:
- Date Range: Click the date picker to set a custom start and end date for the transactions you want to view.
- Status Tabs: Toggle between Processed, Rejected, and Returned to filter transactions by their current status.
- Keyword Search: Search by ID, Account, Payer, Event ID, Order ID, Invoice ID, or Total to find specific transactions.
Download Transactions
Click the Download button in the upper-right corner to export the current list of transactions as a CSV file.
View Transaction Details
Click any Transaction ID in the list to open the full detail view for that transaction. The detail page is organized into three sections:
Transaction Summary
Displays the core details of the transaction, including:
- Transaction ID and merchant account
- Where the payment was made (currently only online)
- Payer name and email address
- Associated Event ID, Order ID (if applicable), and Event name
Payment
Shows a full breakdown of the financial details:
- Payment method: Card type and masked card number (if credit card) or masked account number (if bank debit)
- Subtotal: The base payment amount before fees
- Payer fee: Any fee passed on to the payer
- Total: The combined subtotal and payer fee
- Fee: The platform processing fee
- Net amount: The final amount received after fees
Events
A timestamped log of actions related to the transaction, such as when a payment was processed or a refund was initiated.
Actions Available on the Detail Page
From the Transaction Detail page, you can initiate a refund and resend a receipt.
Refund a Payment
To initiate a refund:
- Click Refund in the upper-right corner. The Refund Transaction modal opens.
- Select a refund option:
- Refund the full amount, including the payer fee.
- Refund the base amount only, excluding the payer fee.
- Refund a custom amount by selecting the custom option and entering a value in the field provided.
- Click Process Refund to complete the refund. This action cannot be undone.
Resend a Receipt
You are able to resend the payment receipt to any email address.
To resend a receipt:
- Click Resend Receipt in the upper-right corner. The Resend Receipt modal opens.
- In the Email Address field, enter the email address of the recipient.
- Click Send Receipt.
