Registration powered by InvitePeople connects Momentus Enterprise with InvitePeople, a purpose-built registration platform. It delivers a modern, full-featured registration experience while ensuring that all attendee, order, and event data remains in Enterprise as the single source of truth.
Why Registration powered by InvitePeople?
- Faster setup: Benefit from a purpose-built platform with streamlined workflows and templates, reducing time to configure and launch registration.
- Sustained innovation: Because registration is InvitePeople's core product, customers benefit from ongoing feature investment, a modern UI, and continuous improvements.
- No disruption: There is no retirement timeline for the legacy registration feature. We encourage adoption of the Registration powered by InvitePeople, but there is no deadline to move.
Prerequisites
- Registration Powered by Invite People is an add-on available for Enterprise customers. Access to resources, price lists, payment plans, and promo codes is necessary.
- Both the legacy Registration module and the new Registration Powered by Invite People module must be active.
Get Registration powered by InvitePeople
To request Registration powered by InvitePeople:
- Go to Momentus Connect and click More Information on the Registration card. Review the details click Initiate Request.
- Schedule a time to talk with your Account Manager in the scheduling application. They'll show you the feature and confirm it's right for you.
- Once all is complete, our team will approve the app in Momentus Connect and connect Enterprise and InvitePeople.
- Once this process is complete, we'll connect you with InvitePeople for onboarding.
Required Enterprise Configuration
To use the integration, you need the following:
- Enable both the legacy Registration module and Registration powered by InvitePeople.
- Resources, Price Lists, and promo codes should be set up in Enterprise prior to use. Account-level data (currencies, countries, price lists, registrant types, resources, promo codes, payment plans) will sync from Enterprise to InvitePeople when your InvitePeople account is created.
- If you have created Registration Types in Enterprise, these can now be managed in InvitePeople. Types will sync back to Enterprise.
- To take payment, a merchant account must be configured:
- Customers on Momentus Payments: The integration works with Momentus Payments seamlessly. Pay Now and Pay Later workflows are both supported. Payment data syncs back to Momentus.
- Customers not on Momentus Payments: Payments are processed through InvitePeople's supported gateways: Stripe, Mollie, and others. All payment data still syncs back to Momentus.
- Create registration functions on events.
- Each Enterprise user must be sync their user to InvitePeople; this is done by each user inside Enterprise. If you are using Momentus Registration in more than one organization, users will need to sync their user from each org. On any event, go to Actions > Tools > Momentus Registration > Sync User to Momentus Registration, or on the Event List right click on the registration event and select Tools > Momentus Registration > Sync User to Momentus Registration.
- On each registration event, you must mark a function as a registration function. On the event, right click on the function and select Tools > Add Functions(s) to Registration.
