Registration powered by InvitePeople connects Momentus Enterprise with InvitePeople, a purpose-built registration platform. It delivers a modern, full-featured registration experience while ensuring that all attendee, order, and event data remains in Enterprise as the single source of truth. See About Registration powered by InvitePeople for more information, including setup prerequisites.
Registration Workflow
- Book the registration event in Enterprise as usual.
- Create a registration function. Create a function on the event, then right-click and select Tools > Add Function(s) to Registration.
- Go to the event in InvitePeople. On the event, go to Actions > Tools > Momentus Registration > Set up Momentus Registration.
- If you haven't synced your user yet, click Actions > Tools > Momentus Registration > Sync User to Momentus Registration first.
- Configure registration for the event in InvitePeople. More information can be found in the InvitePeople Help Center and in the extensive in-app help.
- When complete, registration data syncs back to Enterprise automatically. See What syncs below for details on which fields are included.

Data Sync
Enterprise to InvitePeople
When you connect an event to InvitePeople, the following data syncs from Enterprise to InvitePeople:
- Event data:
- Functions/Sessions, including Name, Start/End Dates, and Description
- Start/End dates
- Event Name
- Description
- Global Data:
- Resources
- Registrant Types
- Promo Codes
- Payment Plans
The following data does not sync from Enterprise to InvitePeople:
- Changes made in Enterprise after the initial sync are not reflected in InvitePeople at this time.
- Capacity and waitlist settings currently only exist within Invite People and do not sync to or from Enterprise. If capacity or waitlist is configured in Enterprise, Invite People will not recognize it. This is a known gap that is planned to be addressed, but no timeline is set at this time.
- Additional Function/Session metadata added in InvitePeople (such as speaker profiles, images, custom fields).
- Customer Order Fields, Custom Registrant Fields, and Custom Guest Fields do not sync to InvitePeople. Custom questions/fields will be configured in InvitePeople. At this time, InvitePeople custom question responses do not sync back to Enterprise.
InvitePeople to Enterprise
The data that syncs back is dependent on how the registration form is configured in Invite People; if a field isn't on the form, it won't sync. The full list of registrant fields that can sync back includes:
- First name
- Last name
- Title
- Company name
- Job title
- Mobile phone
- Address
- ZIP/Postal code
- City
- State/region
- Country
- Time zone
Registrant data syncs back with the Order data (orders, registrant(s), function/session, function items, price, promo codes used, payment plans used).
The following data does not sync from InvitePeople back to Enterprise:
- Custom question responses do not sync back to Enterprise at this time.
- Any field which has not been added to the form.
- Capacity and waitlist data.
- Session proposal data. Note that Session proposals are an additional add-on to the base InvitePeople package.
Reporting
Registration orders and reporting continue to function in Enterprise. Standard registration reports are unaffected by the InvitePeople integration.
- Order-related reports should remain unaffected, however any reports relying on custom question data or other non-syncing fields will not function as expected.
- Invite People also has its own reporting, including some custom reporting capabilities, available within their platform.
